Dr James Panetta is a Staff Specialist in gastroenterology at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. He completed his medical training at the University of Sydney in 2006, with basic physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital and advanced training in gastroenterology at Gosford and Concord Hospitals. He became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians in 2013, and is accredited for gastroscopy and colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
