The Latest Technology in Cosmetic Procedures has arrived on the Central Coast

Brisbane Waters Private Hospital has introduced the latest in liposuction procedures to its suite of plastic and reconstructive surgery, improving results and recovery times for the hospital’s patients.

‘Vaser liposuction’ acts by breaking down fat deposits under the skin using an ultrasonic beam. Once broken down, the fatty deposits can then be easily removed using a cannula and suction to reduce fat and sculpt the body.

Plastics and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Mohammed Mohaghegh, conducted the first Vaser liposuction procedure at Brisbane Waters Private last month in a ground breaking moment for the Central Coast.

“Liposuction reduces fat deposits and is a common procedure in hospitals for contouring areas of the torso, chest, arms, face and legs. Vaser liposuction has become a leading name across Australia and is a highly sought after approach for body-sculpting surgeries. Brisbane Waters Private is currently the only private hospital that offers this world-leading technology on the Central Coast,” said Dr Mohammed Mohaghegh.

As opposed to more traditional forms of liposuction, Vaser allows the surgeon to be gentler and more precise in the way that they remove fat and sculpt an area, disrupting the connection between fatty tissue and muscles underneath without damaging underlying healthy tissues. Due to the heat produced in the procedure, patients can also expect tighter skin due to thermal contraction.
